Register Control Systems are an important component of every printing machine. The constant automatic monitoring of the register – when the print colors pass on top of each other – in particular in web printing, is essential in order to guarantee the high quality of the print results over the long term. Register controls ensure that the individual colors in printing come together exactly – for an optimal color result for every print.
BST eltromat register controls are the result of decades-long analyses of user needs. Consequently, our register control has been developed for the requirements of the most various ranges of application in web printing.
The latest generation of BST eltromat register controls are equipped to register print marks with fiber-optic scanning heads or CCD matrix cameras. They guarantee the complete detection and measurement of all print marks, even at high speeds.
Standardized or individually created print marks are captured precisely – independent of such parameters as contrast, arrangement, or order – in defined zones at the edge of the web or in freely selectable positions in the print image. The entire operation is carried out by a menu, and all status messages appear in plain text.
